even if the enemy team lost, doesnt mean you won. lets be honest, your screen may have "victory" writen on it... but you know inside that you dont deserve these LP. we all have a 0% winrate in our hearts.

the stormtroopers at the beginning of a new hope were pretty accurate

Fun fact: It has been mentioned in various parts of the franchise by different characters that, you actually can't see a damn thing with the Stormtrooper's helmet on your head. It's a nice jab at the real world military in that soldiers often receive junks that lowers their combat efficiency than strengthening it, but also basically explains why Stormtroopers aim may not be as good as one may hope it to be.

But wait,

Fun fact 2: If real world has any relevance to the world of Star Wars, one must realise that in the real world bullets are usually fired as suppressive fire (basically, spray bullets and hope that scares the enemy enough so that they miss more or better, they freak out and do stupid things and the bullet accidentally hits the target, rather than trying to hit the target with supreme precision) and thus especially in a war zone each enemy death is counted on average to thousands of bullets used. Meanwhile, Stormtroopers usually gets the job done in some way after a few (or a dozen) misses, and can even be on aimbots if they're shooting at side or disposable characters. So maybe they're actually all master marksman and we just don't realise it.

And I'm sure there are other reasons to explain that they're actually not that bad.

But really, it just comes down to the plot handling. There is at least one instance in the OT where Stormtrooper were actually ordered to miss the target on purpose, but otherwise the aim of the Stormtroopers as previously mentioned, pretty much dictated by whether or not there's plot armour that requires them to miss the target, and SW just couldn't be bothered to try and play it out in ways that give Stormtroopers some dignity while missing the target. Without plot armour getting in the way, they have been seen pulling some pretty incredible shots from time to time; so sucks to be them to be stuck in a world with blatant plot armour I suppose.
