I've always wondered why LoL camera doesn't rotate

I used to play old school mmo's with top view such as Ragnarok Online and later some new mmo's with top view that I can't even remember their names. Although some of those games were limited with the technology of their age, they all had rotating cameras.

Just to be clear, I don't want 3rd person cameras I just want to be able to rotate it 360 degrees on the side axises instead of it being stuck like that.

The map is only made to look good from one angle.

back in season 3 there was a custom tool that basically mirror'd the map so you were always "playing on the bottom side of the map" or blue side. it showed how the everything on the map (especially the bushes) are just sprites made to look good in that standard angle.
