Why the hell do we need to spend BE to craft emotes we get for leveling up??

So I've mostly kept quiet about the new leveling system. I'm still mad we didn't retroactively get XP, I'm mad that I spent RP on Rune Pages before preseason but after September 1st because I never saw you wouldn't get the rewards for pages spent after that point because it wasn't clear on the pages for preseason rewards before like the week before the patch hit (seriously though, I spent a lot of RP on Rune pages because I play nearly every champ and wanted the rewards especially considering Rune Pages are basically old Mastery pages), and I'm frustrated that it takes anywhere from 5 to 10 years to earn even a moderate amount of BE.

But I figured I wouldn't say anything until I hit level 40. After all, every 10 levels you supposedly get a super chest worth like 3k BE, and that was indeed the case. However, you also get an emote that you can craft to show off your level. This emote... costs 2500 BE.

Really Riot? As if the asinine mastery 6 and 7 system That costs almost 8k BE to level a champion to 7 isn't enough, we have to spend all of the contents of our feel good super chest to get an emote to show what level we are? When I saw online that there were leaked emotes from hitting certain levels I was actually pretty hyped. Up until level 175 you can get an emote every 25 levels after 50, which is pretty nice honestly. Who doesn't want to show off their time invested in the game, especially this early in the new system where it's an arms race to hit high level (because we weren't retroactively given out XP that other games like Smite and HotS weren't stingy enough to withhold, but I digress.) But the fact that Riot can't just go "yeah man here you go, an emote for showing off your own level" but instead says "yeah man here you go, a crafting component for an emote that will permanently sit in your inventory screen if you ignore it and constantly taunt you that it is there and costs 2500 BE which is worth more than some champions and about 1/3 of a new champion but don't worry man you just got a super level up chest so you can just spend literally all of that on this stupid ass emote." It's so dumb.

TL;DR, Riot has been as cold and calculating when switching to the new system as possible and they didn't avoid controversy like they hoped, but stupid shit like hitting a certain level and THEN having to craft for 2500 BE the emote to show it is just asinine and stupid. Also, reduce mastery 6 and 7 costs, like seriously it's absurd now, and I had 42 champions to level 7 before the system swapped over so I know better than nearly anyone.
