i'm really confused right now and need clarification or advice i'm newish to computer games LOL is my first comp game been playing less than 6 months on and off due to work issues and such but i'm currently lvl 23 and i'm really confused by how this IE and BE merge is supposed to work because "it's supposed to be easier to earn" yet i only get 725 when i lvl up from a capsule (and thats all i got out of the lvl capsule was essence when i lvled for the first time today under the new system) currently to jump from 23 to lvl 24 i need 2448xp and my friend who is at lvl 36 told me he only needs 2600 to level up, for a 13 lvl difference.

On average he said he earns 150-250 xp a game so it takes him about 10 games to lvl and other friends are reporting the same thing, however with my skill lvl and win/loss since i've realized xp is awarded based on win/loss and how well you played. Winning or loosing is a team effort and currently i suck skill wise trying to learn everything some people have had years to master, and after doing the math i'm averaging for my last 20 games 171xp a game which is because of one really really weird game where i managed to somehow get 822xp. so if i take that game out of the equation my average is 136xp for each of 19 games

honestly this update confuses me because it seems to have turned into either you must become a god, have no life and no need of sleep, have a endless supply of money to waist on the game, or end up being fine with being a 1 or 2 trick pony with limited champ range because you cant afford much else if you started not long before this update.

Anyone have thought's/helpful advice or something because i have limited finances, and with it being the holiday season i do not have hours upon hours to spend playing this game (since my games tend to average 40 minutes to an hour i'm lucky if i can get 2 or 3 in a day assuming i dont need to be at work early )

money is not ... well it shouldn't be the answer i dont know how many if any people can afford to dump the kind of money Riot is asking for. i mean starting out i've spent roughly $70 on a decent amount of on sale champions and 4 or 5 skins two of which were on sale (for the two champs i'm learning off of that i play most often), i've got 29 champions namely because i used what i had to get me the most champs i could which was either on sale champions or cheapest champs with the exception of both my mains because one was free to play and i liked her so i bought her because i was getting semi good with her and didn't want to wait until she was free again and the one that was recommended to me by a friend because he figured i'd have a easier time learning with her and she could kinda fill two rolls if need be. I don't have to buy into the Kim Kardashian pay to look pretty system but at some point this new method of earning stuff seems like it's designed to benefit no one aside from Riot, or people who have bot's set up on their computer to play their games all day for them.
