The 3 Types Of ADCs
I've played support since shortly after I started playing League of Legends, and in my 4 and a half years of maining this role, I've concluded that all ADC players can be put into 1 of 3 different categories, none of which are all that great.
The Coward
Sooner to run away than fight back, the Coward is, in my opinion, the worst of the three. Playing painfully passive, unless you're playing a damage/poke support like Zyra, you're essentially forced to play under tower all laning phase due to their spinelessness. Because of their cowardly play style, it's rare, if ever, they get a kill, even when an opportunity is perfectly set up for them, often causing them to be a level or two behind the rest of the team, and lacking in enough gold to buy the items they need. Their usually so far in the backline that they can do little actually help their own frontline, often reacting to late, losing the fight for their team. Sure, because of their cowardice they didn't feed early, which is fortunate, but they might as well have been AFK in fountain with how little they did to help. In the end, they only avoided feeding early to just feed late game when they have nowhere left to hide.
_**The Tyler1 ** _
Just like their namesake, these ADCs are a bit of a double-edged sword, offering the chance of actually carrying and providing damage for your team, at the cost of an explosive, and sometimes outright toxic personality. These are your classic Vayne mains, inting in to 1v5s thinking they can do everything on their own, only to blame their Support or Jungler for their own death, even when the support is a champion like Blitzcrank, who can't heal or shield. Unless you follow their every whim and constantly watch out for them excusively, sacrifficing helping the rest of your team, they're doomed to feed and lose the game. Even when they do get fed, victory isn't close, since they often tunnel vision and become more obsessed with getting a good KDA rather than taking down objectives, which is the whole point of an ADC.
The Somwhere Inbetween
A fair mix of the Coward and the Tyler1, you'd be forgiven for thinking these would be the "good" ADCs, when in fact they're just as awful as the rest. Gaining the negative attributes of the previous two groups, but none of the positives, their play style is at best "wishy-washy" fluctuating from agressive to passive, without giving any hint or warning to their team. They lack the spark that Tyler1 ADCs have, keeping them from reaching their peak, and lack the cautiousness of the Coward, often causing them to feed. These ADCs are the most common of three, yet lackluster in every way, with their only notable trait being that they might occasionally be able to pull off split pushing, taking towers for their team, but usually at the worst of times, such as when the enemy is in your own base taking ihibitors, or at Baron.
