If the new Riot Pls Video lives up to its promises, they will finally tackle the client and give us 2 factor authentification, the ability to stay logged in on the client and background patching as well as increase patching speed by, if their averages are true, 11 fucking times of what it currently is.

Riot, keep your word and in my eyes your Dev team will have earned a second chance.

Also: Yes, I might be a bit late to this, but i've yet to see a post that expresses genuine grattitude for these changes being finally addressed.

Oh boy riot gold star for finally having 2 factor in 2019, an essential security features that smaller companies have had in their games for ages! It's great that they're adding it, but let's not forget how low of a priority account security was to the billion dollar company. It shouldn't have taken this long.

2FA can burn in hell, the only people who benefit from it will find other ways to screw themselves over. For anyone else it is a huge nuisance and liability.
