Hit Xerath stun, Arcane Meteor hits, Get the bonus damage from Cheap Shot. Hit Xerath slow, Arcane Meteor hits, don't get damage from Cheap Shot. Didn't really use this rune on other people so I don't know if it's all slows or just Xeraths.

You know, now that I think about it, maybe it's not. Maybe even though it's a 2.5 seconds slow, the Arcane Comet just isn't hitting in time.
Works on Varus E, along with Ashe passive.
I'd hit up the Report a Bug subsection with this and see if a dev team member replies.

Xerath's W and E apply Cheap Shot as intended on the next attack or ability that lands. Comet itself does NOT apply Cheap Shot in any capacity, as it is not considered an attack or ability: for instance, it does not proc Rylai's or Liandry's, and if you somehow cast a spell, gain 100 Luden's stacks, and THEN Comet lands it will not proc Ludens.
So you'll have to land an autoattack or one of your other 3 abilities afterwards to make use of cheap shot.
