Trigger Warning Odyssey May Cause Epileptic Seizures

Hey all. I just wanted to get everyone a head's up that, during the game and the ending, there's the possibility of an epileptic seizure getting triggered. If you have epilepsy, like me, you may want to avoid the game mode or play in a bright area. I've let support know about it and they said they'll do what they need to.

Stay classy and have a good time!

Update: It did cause a seizure so please, please, please, spread the word and be cautious.

Oh geez! I hope you're okay and didn't learn this the hard way! Are you alright?

Reminds me about that one banned Pokemon episode.

Yes this episode aired in Japan and caused a massive amount of problems.

Thank you so very much! My husband is sensitive to bright flashing lights and this allowed me to let him know before hand! This will let him take any necessary precautions (if he wants to play but I don't think he will if he has an episode watching me play it).

I was about to ask if you are okay but I saw the other post asking. I'm so sorry you had a seizure, but I'm happy you're alright and warned the public.

Didn't even realize this could be an issue.

Upvoting for those this could hurt.

Unfortunately that is an issue with video games, specially ones like this. I'm glad to hear you're okay though. That sucks.

This reminded me of a certain incident I've had a year ago while playing Team Fortress 2...

TF2 has community maps, and people can make their own servers, on one such server, there was a vote poll thing which let people choose the map, the majority picked a certain meme map.

Once we got into the match there was a warning on one of the map walls, it read something along the lines of "epileptic warning: flashing lights", I (luckily) don't have epilepsy so I got on with the round, anyway, the lights were flashing a lot throughout the entire match (omg my freaking eyes) but the worst thing came when someone typed in chat "where is the epilepsy warning?" (he probably didnt see it) and asked others to change the map, no one did and he was going to exit but then another chat message came: "my epilepsy is freaking out rn" and then his mercenary (tf2 version of champion) didn't move at all for the rest of the game, he didn't type anything either but his account didn't exit the game.

I legit worried about the poor guy, we (the other players) were talking about how the warning needed to be made bigger but it was late for him, I hope he's okay.

While I don't have seizures, flashing lights and patterns that trigger seizures can throw me into immediate migraine. Thanks for the warning and for anyone that can't handle things like this, just stay away until Riot fixes it!

Hope you're okay!
