How has NO ONE ever noticed that when a player is banned...

It only shows what THEY say

"B-b-but flex zone! that's not relevant! You have control over YOUR words. it doesn't matter at ALL what other people say!"

I just find it funny when people used to post their logs and everyone would subtley flame and be like " wow haha look at all you said"

But it doesn't show the teammates inting or called you racial slurs, or anything like that.

Hmm, balanced.

Also people are banned by a bot most of the time which searches for key words, and yeah some people argue the bans are "reviewed by humans" but ehhh.

Because it doesn't matter if the other person spammed homophobic slurs, if you spam racial slurs you are deserving of punishment.

Just because someone else was potentially toxic

######They probably weren't though and you're trying to use that as justification of some sort or just trying to shift blame in general

Doesn't give you a free pass to be toxic as well

So yeah, it really doesn't matter what other people say and it is 'balanced', because they'll be punished for what they said and you'll be punished for what you said

I tell you what I did notice.

That in your entire OP, you don't actually make a single point.

You're driving down the street and you and the guy in front of you are hauling ass going 130 MPH in a 35 mph street. A cop pulls YOU over while tue other guy speed away. You stop, the officer arrests you because well that was insanely dangerous and you say "but officer that other guy was speeding too why arrest me?!?!?!" Because YOU broke the law, doesn't matter if someone else did too YOU made a choice and broke a rule.

So instead of just showing the chat logs for one toxic shitlord it would show the chat logs for multiple toxic shitlords

What changes

I thought you were gonna make a counter argument after the second sentence but you just said a whole bunch of nothing.

Truly a breakthrough worthy of the Nobel Prize. Someone nominate this guy.

The key is not to get dragged into the mud with those toxic people. Be the guy that holds the team together or simply just mute everyone.

The narrative Riot likes to push is that people exist in a vacuum and external factors such as an enemy player trolling and goading people to make them angry on purpose is irrelevant. Their stance is that every player is responsible for their own words and the instigation by other players is irrelevant to it.

I don't agree with this stance, but it's the philosophy Riot has coached everyone into acting under. It's probably just easier for them to ban people based on their own words and not take the time to look into mitigating factors when they can just pin it on the easy target and preach about "personal responsibility" while they don't make the other guy take any visible responsibility for THEIR words.
