Should the new Pyke take an actual damage keystone now?
Now that tank Pyke is basically dead, is Aftershock still the go-to rune for him? The devs have made it clear that Pyke cannot be tanky and needs to be hanging around the fringes of a fight looking for an opening rather than staying in the middle of the action.
Electrocute, Predator, and Dark Harvest (especially next patch's Dark Harvest) all look like great options. Since Pyke wants trades to be as short as possible, more damage is his friend.
Arcane Comet is okay, I guess. Aery probably won't do much good since he can't shield anything and poke isn't Pyke's jam. I'll have to test Phase Rush, because that could be a lot of fun. Getting your combo off and using the movespeed to escape could be really good.
Since we're going to be able to choose stat shards next patch, Precision keystones are at least worth looking at. His attack speed isn't high enough to really make the most of Press the Attack, but I could see situations where it would be useful. Lethal Tempo also doesn't really do much for him since he doesn't want extended trades. Conqueror is also something to consider. He's building lethality now, so being able to ignore basically all of their armor would give Pyke even more damage, but again, he doesn't want extended trades. Fleet Footwork is probably the best out of Precision for Pyke. Bonus damage, movespeed for sticking to people or getting out of the way, and a self-heal. Pykey likey.
Inspiration is iffy, in my opinion. Kleptomancy could work, since Pyke is generally trying to get in range to auto attack when he uses an ability, but his cooldowns are too long early on to really justify it. Glacial Augment is more CC, which is good, but Pyke doesn't really want to build the items that benefit from the other part of Glacial Augment's passive. Unsealed Spellbook is in a weird place. Having free Exhausts or Heals for trading or a Teleport for an easy recall or roam could be really nice, but is it nicer than Electrocute? Not really.
