The Banning System Is Worthless

Okay, so I was on a 5 win streak and was really feeling myself rising up in tiers like crazy. I duo queue with my friend (we're also friends in real life) and the last game we played should have been an easy win since they were all AD and I was Rammus, but the Sivir on our team disconnected before the minions deployed and gave them first blood. The Sivir came back about ten minutes later and started doing well getting back into it, but when the Sivir realized that the game was lost because, and I quote the Sivir, "we fed" even though the only reason we had more deaths than the Sivir is because we had to fight two 4v5 teamfights mid and Sivir played super safe when she got back. So Sivir started flaming us telling us we were all "bad" and that we had lost the game game because we were "feeding", and continued with all the flaming with even worse things being said. So I just tried telling the Sivir the facts of that the only reason we had accumulated more deaths is because we had to fight a 4v5 for ten minutes. My friend also said similar things to try to get the Sivir to shut up, but she wouldn't. I asked in all chat that everyone would report the Sivir, and most people on their team agreed because she did say rude things to their team in all chat too. After the game the Sivir stated they reported everyone on our team for "feeding" among various other things. My friend and I just brushed this off and tried to play another game, then we got kicked from it in banning phase because he had left the champion selection. He had been hit with a 14 day ban even though he had Honor 5 (which really means nothing) and had never been banned for anything before. I believe that even though my friend got one report he got a 14 day ban, while the Sivir got 6+ and has gotten nothing. This really makes me mad since I know that we were not in the wrong place trying to defend ourselves from this flamer and we were just stating the facts trying to get the flamer to calm down.
