Why are you surprised about this PAX thing? Riot has been going this direction for years

Recently the core LoL audience has been blowing up about the PAX situation. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone though. Riot has been going in this direction for years, here were some of the warning signs

Look at the champion reworks. Every champion rework since 2014-2015 has reduced the chest size of the female champions and put them in less sexy positions, with the notable exception of Tristana. I'm personally not a 'boob guy', but I'll admit there was something attractive about the game when I first played seeing MF, Caitlyn, and Morgana on free week and noticing how huge their boobs are. While not sexually attractive, it was amusing and while I never thought of it this way, it was a visual sign that it placated to an introverted male demographic. Which is why I've always been vocal about the boob reductions, lack of Akali sideboob, and the like. Those things were core characteristics that drew people into the game and made the game so big to start off with.

Riot has wanted to make league more family friendly, all people inclusive game, but it's simply not an appealing game to all groups of people. Studies show 90% of moba players are men. The vast majority of those easily fitting into a 15 - 25 age demographic. The scientific reasoning behind transgenderism has to do with the structure of the brain. Male and female brains work differently and those that are transgender have brains that more closely resemble the opposite sex. I bring this up because it's a scientific fact that men have certain inherent interests women do not. Which is obviously not to say the difference between men and women are concrete.

This idea that Riot needs to make the experience less toxic and more friendly to those outside the demographic usually comes at a loss to the core audience and overall stability of the game.

I've always felt it was kind of offputting that LoL has been the pioneer when it comes to regulating speech in game. Sure, it doesn't feel good to be taunted when you do something bad, but that's something men do in their leisure. Men are mean to each other. We blow off steam that way. Men have testosterone and compete in a verbally abusive manner. Sometimes we mean it, sometimes we don't mean it. But that's what men do.

That sort of verbal abuse is what pushes you to do better. It's part of what makes a good play good. There's an old saying about the light not seeming as bright if you've never been in there darkness. Well, that's what blowing off steam in game does.

Inherently, due to the competitive nature and high learning curve to be even relatively competent you'll never reach gender equity, it inherently appeals to a male brain more. Which isn't to say no girls can ever enjoy it- that's a big reason why female streamers are so popular. They're the rare girls who actually enjoy this sort of activity, which makes them inherently -far- more attractive to a male demographic.

How is segregation of the playerbase from core aspects of the game connected to family friendly environment and chest size?

No, reworks that make female champions more defined besides being sexy if it does not fit their character, such as miss fortune who's figure is a large part of her character, are completely fine. creating a more diverse cast and setting with more realistic and identifiable characters is fine.

This has nothing to do with Riot's most recent actions.
