My eyes are still rolling from this.
Guy comes up to the registers and like 1/4th of overnight customers decides he's going to pile his items on the register that has a visible "Register Closed" sign. Quality out of 10 you didn't even try to be aware of your surroundings.
Now it's okay to set stuff down there but don't actively pile it on and then get your wallet out as if I'm going to start ringing you up.

He asks me where the plastic forks are. I notice he has pickles and a sandwich, items from the delicase. I tell him the forks are above the delicase and point to it. He gets confused and says "what?" So I repeat myself and point at it again longer. "Where?"
So I have to guide this dude to the delicase that he has already visited for him to find the plastic forks.
I think to myself (no I didn't say this I thought it) "Do you think you could put in a bit more effort? Ya know just a bit more than none?" cause he really didn't even freaking try.
And when he gets to the right register I look at his shirt. And holy fuck the stars must have aligned for this shit.
