There are cheaper kinds of steak and most people don't eat it every day.

Also, store bought OJ is fake juice. Well, it technically comes from oranges but the flavor is added later. My sister can't eat a real orange because "it doesn't taste like an orange" to her.

Buy veggies, spiced and chicken/pork. Make some dishes that you can eat over several days like curries. There is a lot of easy stuff to do:

_**Little recipe for you: **_buy buckwheat flour, mix some with water and salt and you can make yourself some buckwheat crepes. See here: https://www.marmiton.org/recettes/recette_la-pate-a-galettes-de-ble-noir-traditionnelle_35351.aspx You can choose how many you wanna make and the ingredients are : Buckwheat flour, sea salt (just use regular salt), cold water and 1 egg (usually only 1 just to give your crepes a nice color when you cook them. You can put whatever you want inside and it's just awesome with a salad on the side (for salad, instead of lettuce you can use cabbage... it's cheaper and there is a lot of nutrients and stuff).

I buy stuff that I can throw in the microwave because I'm a manchild who refuses to spend more than 5 minutes preparing a meal. Unfortunately I buy the expensive stuff from expensive store because it's the stuff that tastes good and i happen to work at that store and just buy groceries on the way out.

It runs me around $80-$120 a month.

I can live pretty comfortably off $50- 60. My shopping list usually looks like:

-Tinned fish (tuna, sardines, mackerel) -Tinned chicken -Canned vegetables -Dry goods (peas, beans, rice) -Bread ingredients (flour, yeast, salt) -Pickles -Popcorn -Saltines -Peanut Butter -Canned soup -Spaghetti + canned sauce -Fruit cups/applesauce -Tortillas -Eggs

I also get garden vegetables (fresh and pickled) from my family in exchange for labor, depending on the season. I'm a hunter, so I typically have access to at least deer meat. A typical meal for me would be like beans, rice, chicken, and homemade bread, or fish patties and saltines. I spend way more on alcohol than food.

As I recently started studying it's mostly noodles, rice, vegetables and rarely sausages.

I am not a vegetarian, I just don't like meat that much.
