And seeing two old men being nice to each other and laughing and shit makes my heart melt

Old people are annoying, because most of the time they're really lonely. Their children have families and problems of their own so they tend to get neglected, which makes them want to talk the ear off of anyone near them for more than 2 seconds. It's not that they're grumpy, it's that they're irritating to be around because they won't stop talking and trying to be friendly with you.

I didn't like it when I was 18 and some old lady tried to tell me how much better her 30-40yr old son was when I was trying to watch some movie by myself in the theaters.
