So I've read a lot that people say Senna is a flat out better Sona but I feel conflicted on this.
Sona basically spams enchantments nonstop and Senna's line can be very frustrating to hit multiple allies with in lower elos that I'm at. I've also found Senna's gun's windup frustrating as sin.
Idk, I think Senna might be overhyped tbh.
She's alot more useful than Sona. Better damage, utility, and CC.
Sona midgame and lategame are insane, but she is weak early especially in lane vs strong early champions (which are very meta right now) Senna has like 10k gold in free stats in her kit and is very good at all stages of the game, i'd argue she is slightly worse than a well built Sona later in the game though, but still a much stronger pick right now

Theres a reason Senna has over 10x so as playrates and holds basically the same win rate
Sonas Dame was nerfed multiple times, where Senna can actually hold her own and do high damage still
Ummmm who ever saying that needs to actually play the champions. Like they play differently and you pick them for different reasons.
Sona has more utility and peel with senna but senna has better poke, ganking power, and damage.
If kha jumps on a kog, sona can press r, and heal or give her adc and herself a ms boost.
With senna, kog is basically dead. Like everything she has isn't instant.
Like it's a enchanter and a marksman they do different things. Yes senna is a support that has a heal but she is not a enchanter.
It is in no way hyperbole to plainly state that Sona is decidedly the weakest support in the game. She has a shit laning phase, followed by a weak mid game & only becomes mediocre in the late game, just to fall off yet again in the super late game. It shouldn't come as a surprise to any competent person why she has the lowest pickrate of any support & the overall 6th-lowest in the entire game.
This isn't even the first time Sona was directly compared as the inferior version of another support side-by-side. In fact, it's at least the 3rd time this has been said. Meanwhile, Senna has nearly a 70% pick/ban rate. I genuinely can't fathom how ANYBODY could unironically claim that Sona, the weakest support in the game, has any benefits over Senna.
Sona isn't even allowed to exist, as inherently evidenced by Rito's continued refusal to revert the patch 4.13 "rework" that landmarked her indefinite disappearance from this game.
