Ranked Promo's in season 8

So i have had a couple of bad games in my promo's and if i play 1 more ranked game i should get my rank. According to Op.gg ill get in bronze 2 so i dont want to play ranked anymore. When season 8 starts do my promo games reset or do they stay the same.

It’ll soft reset. But if you play poorly you’ll wind up in bronze. It’s better just to play through bronze it’s not terrible and learn the game, start winning and you’ll climb easy.
