Prestige Points to craft Gem Stones

Should Riot make it possible to turn Prestige Points into Gem Stones?

Recently I got the Arcade Pass to get more Arcade tokens, however I now have 25 Prestige Points in my hextech crafting, atm there are no ways to convert or disenchant the Prestige Points into anything.

I dont believe that I will be able to get a full 100 points before the January 31, 2020 expiry ticket date. Since the Prestige Points are quite tedious to obtain and require many game hours; the ability to convert them into Gem stones will be quite rewarding and will not feel like a waste of Prestige Points.

I think this will also entice people into buying passes because even if they cant obtain the Prestige skins (100 points) they can grind and collect the gem stones to get an exclusive skin :D

That isn't a bad idea, but I would allow gem stones turn into PP too.

There definitely needs to be SOMETHING to spend these points on in quantities fewer than 100. Be it chest/key sets, gemstones, whatever.

Let it be the other way around too, then I'm game for this. After K/DA Kai'Sa Prestige Edition, and they proved the skins would only be overpriced Golden Chromas, I'm not buying into "Prestige" points any longer. Especially not when they even put a damn expiration date on them, just to prove their greed beyond all doubt.

However, I got 16 Gemstones in stock with not really a single skin that I want to buy with them (what even happened to Hextech skins? They seem to have died off completely...), so trading Gemstones for Prestige points would definitely be more profitable for me.

yeah, a lot of people have all the prestiges, don't want, feel like it's a waste to buy them or just don't like them/have better skins for their champs.We should be able to buy smth else with those despite skins,like gemstones,key fragments,chests,or chests+key or a random skin/champ! p.s:this will make those skins even more rare for summoners who actualy like them to feel better about themselves :D

Won't happen because of their business model.

They want you to have leftover points, that's why prestige points exist instead of making those skins gemstone skins. The more unused 'currency' you have, the more likely you are to pay real money to buy more.

Just like why you can't buy a skin for $10, but instead need to buy RP which will leave you at just a bit less or more than you need.

this is actually dumb. how many gemstone skins are even in the gemstone shop? are they even good quality (90% of them nope. just blue in color)

Plus they already said at the end of the year (feb2020-ish when your Prestige Points expire; they will have a Prestige store that sells smaller prizes for a lower amount of Prestige Points)
