New player questions

Hi, i am a fairly new player in LOL but i have some moba experience i have a couple of questions, maybe some of you would be kind enough to help me out ;) <3

is there a GoldPerMinute counter option in the game ?
is there a way to find out what the name of a champion is during the picking phase (you only see the champions icon)
is there a way to test champions that i do not own ? i want to learn and understand every champ without spending hundreds of €'s
any hints you can give a new player ? :D

1). Not to my knowledge 2). I haven't played in a week and generally just know them all by name (try hovering over the champion). 3). The only way that I am aware of which allows you to play champions you don't own is to play them while they are on free rotation, which changes every week. 4). Practice farming, watch your mini-map, ward, pay attention to what your enemies are building (Generally keeping an eye on their farm is useful too), and if someone is being a jerk MUTE THEM don't respond (you will be better off this way).

Those are the things that I picked up pretty quickly, and I am sure more practiced players have better advice to add.

You can play champs you don't own on the PBE. I don't know if your account will be eligible but if it is, it's definitely the easiest way

Last hit minions, ward the bushes, and focus objectives.
