I heard that Riot employees went on the streets to protest about bad work conditions in Riot and havent heard about it since. Anyone knows what happened later?

They all went back to work.

Let's hope they can last. Even though they probably can't.

NOTHING, nothing happened nothing changed they're going to keep farting in each other's faces, sending dick pics, harassing female employees you know the usual, every one of those employees is 100% replaceable (the bar set verrrry low at riot games) so no one cares if they leave.

Why do you think the recent login animations are so bad?

Riot ignored their pleas.

That said, VOX (another company with game ties. I think they're like journalism or something?) went on strike for better wages with their union and they ended up winning.

Riot agreed to let all future employees opt out of mandatory arbitration. The walk-out staff are considering their next move.

I say it’s time for a strike and a union. The gaming industry can’t solve its problems until the companies that comprise it do, and no company that’s part of the problem will change until its management is forced to. Weeks of stopped work and the hanging threat that they might resume would get the point across.

Only 150 employees walked out that isn't a whole lot. Google had a similar walk out where thousands of employees participated.

The market is flooded with people willing to do the work without protesting, so I'd imagine they all went back to the grind so they wouldn't lose their jobs.
