And I won't be able to get out of the state..... this should fun. My district is rated safe for cat3 or below. I am far enough in-land that I should be safe from storm surge, and my house is rather tough. Really the main threat is falling trees, though there is quite a few around my house. So, if it hits where it is most expected I should be alright. Gonna be a close one though.

As someone who lived through Katrina(the eye literally went over us) as long as you don't have to worry about flooding you should be fine.

If you have a well built house, trees can fall and hit it while doing only mild to moderate damage (several trees hit our house, mainly smaller ones, but still)

Just try to make sure you have as much food, water, and fuel as you can get, they will be scarce for a while.

If you can get a generator that is great.

We were out of power for a few weeks, so hopefully you won't have to go as long without power.

You probably know all this, just thought I would throw it out there.
