Prestige Skin Borders

Hi,

Following the information that some prestige skins will be ineligible for borders upon reroll or creation, is it possible to remove existing prestige borders? I have the prestige Irelia skin and honestly I hate the prestige border. I wish I could take it off, it ruins the splash art and would rather not have it at all.

I don't really understand why all borders aren't optional, as I personally don't care for them.
