Remake penalty

Dear riot, Today i lost 19 LP because your game did not let me connect. I love the remake system and am glad my team mates didn't have to play a game we would have probably lost because i would have been behind as the ADC. What i don't like is that i am being penalized for something that was not my fault. I restarted my computer because that normally lets me in however that did not fix the issue this time of the loading screen not showing up for me. I have a top of the line machine that was just rebuilt at the start of this year. I have never had this problem connecting to your games until TFT came out. Long rant short. No one is forcing a remake for an elo boost and you don't give players LP for a remake because they didn't play the game so don't take LP for players because they couldn't connect to the game server for what ever reason. For the good of the community please reconsider your policy on taking lp from people who could not connect.

Well this would be a new dodge mechanic post champion select in order to dodge the bullet if you dont like the team comps. Hell this may become the primary dodging mechanic instead of dodging during the champ select b4 it starts.

Also if we reduce the price say 80-90% of the LP you would lose on a lost game then the duo boosters will exploit it again.

Yes i had, and i was mad that i lost LP for free when it their client/game.

Do I want to reduce the penalty? No because it gives chances for more dodging, be exploited by boosters and you may need to go into plenty champ select before you manage to play a single game ( in which the coinflip teams, the oneshot meta still exists-that may lead to further frustration eg "I waited 30 min in order to play a game with all these dodges and remakes and when i play i get this shity X champion that oneshots me and my team or I got this Y team that feeds/are noobs/uncarriable/toxic" etc)

Get better and you wont be exploited by boosters

When i say boosters i have in mind the high diamond/masters/challenger not a random gold friend to help you get out of iron/bronze. So are you saying that is easy to beat a duo coordiantion that have higher base knowledge,mechanics,micro and macro management? Its like saying eg lol you didnt climb to diamond on your second season you are bad,unistall. You cant suddenly find the skills to beat someone that have reached the top 1% of the playerbase.

No I dont work for Riot or getting paid by them. I used different approach because the OP was kinda tilted and since I had a different opinion the OP so i wanted to avoid offending or triggered him if I used more casual tone. Also I was practincing my writing skills back then for some business of mine.

if riot makes a mistake, such as not allowing his client to start, then riot is the one at fault. Period.

Most of the time (~99.9%) it is indeed Riot fault and I agree with you.

No, I am not saying that. You got that idea from reading my post? No my point was that the abovementioned solution could maybe solve the issue but it would introduce another.

I am a person that believes that a solution that solves something but ruins something else isnt a real solution. That would be a lot of work without accomplishing anything.

Besides do you even remotely trust that Riot- a company that lets her client rot that way for over a year like that, her new site be also buggier that before( it is aethestically better that before though), advocate more damage and damage for balance philosophy- to actually even remotely code something like the OP said? They will find a way to mess it up so badly that eg it will introduce a new Morde bug or the half the players cant lock in their champion and more in-game shenanigans. I personally dont believe them**Because We Have SPAGHETTI CODE. **
