is this how the game is?

so i just started the game on the NA region lvl 8 right now. i had to play bots to lvl up until i could que for real matches which i understand. But i qued for my first real pvp match and it was nothing but bots still. I thought to myself maybe this was just a one time thing but no i continued to que for 5 more real matches and every single one on both my team and theirs was nothing but bots not real players.

how could i tell you ask? i typed in team chat many times and /all chat to talk to the other team no one said anything not one word all game also by the end of a 20+ min match they had around 5-10 minions killed also when i would attack they would ether run around in circles or stand still and do nothing also would chase me into my turret without backing up and just die. is this really what the game is? infected by bots and rarely get to vs actual players?

It's not the case in matches at higher levels, but lower level matches are bot hell. All I can tell you is keep playing AI games, try to add a few people who seem friendly to your list, and then queue up as 3 or more into normal games. By the time you get to the 20s you should be clear of most or all of the bots.

but also report bots every time you come across them! it won't change the game you just played, but it will help eliminate them in the future
