New League under Bronze - Huge Improvement to Ranked

League stats show that 50% of all ranked players are in Silver. This makes playing in Silver a real pain in the ass since the difference in skill among players of seemingly similar rank is too vast.

I suggest creating a new league called Beginner's League or Copper or Iron or whatever under Bronze.

Current Bronze players would mostly go into that league. The bottom half of Silver would go into Bronze, and the top part of Silver would be the real Silver league. Additionally, players starting ranked would be more likely to be placed in Bronze or lower.

This would allow a bit more prestige to Silver since it will be an earned league, instead of the league everyone is put in immediately. More importantly, it creates a sense of progression and achievement as you climb up, instead of randomly ranking up or down depending on teammates (whose skill levels are all over the place)

Currently, if you're Silver, chances are it will take forever to climb anywhere, because you basically have to go through two leagues worth of people and skill to get gold. This change makes the ranked process a whole lot better. You can move a lot more before you start hitting players in the top 25%.

It might make things better, or just make things slightly different. However, the true and only reason people not climbing out of silver is because of incosistency. They play all kinds of champions and all kinds of roles and having a ~50% winrate, instead of actually learning the fundamentals of the game. Its the exact same principal when learning and playing a sport.

I climbed out of silver to gold in less than 90 games while one-tricking. That way i knew every matchup, every strenght and weakness of my champ and my role, increasing my winrate to more than 50% and climbed.

Again, teammates doesnt really matter (of course not every game is winnable) but prime example is Lebron James carrying a bunch of no-namers to the NBA play-offs with insane statlines.

This isn't about climbing out of silver or not. This is about 50% of players being in the same league which doesn't make sense.

Nothing to do with them being better or not.
