Tho this is assuming the starving dictatorship with a crumbling morale that's dependant on playing the threat game to bribe resources out of other countries could take over South Korea without any of the neighboring countries pissed at them or the US taking them out.

I don't think LCK as a league would disappear though. The organization would rebrand themselves and the teams would just refuge into another country and start from there.
If NK took over SK, there would be political hellfire. SK is such a central economy that in order for NK to take it over, the US and NATO would all have to be out of the way. If NK took over SK, it wouldn't just be SK out of LCS
