Stuck in the reconnect menu

I am stuck in the league client since more than an hour where the only thing i can do is view my friends and the reconnect button. When I click on the reconnect button I get the error where i can't connect and I doubt the game lasts more than an hour.

I'm stuck now too, been there for about an hour now. Tried the Hextech Repair tool to see if something was a miss, but nothing. Not sure what's going on, but not happy
