i'm wanting to try irelia and akali to climb ranked, does anyone have some advice like, which compositions (ally or enemy team) i should choose one over the other? i'm thinking mid mainly but also top if needed
i just wanna know if there's any red flags, like to avoid with one of them, and when to choose depending on enemy team composition and/or lane composition (enemy laner)
also maybe who to ban?

When I play Akali, I ban Aatrox. When I play Irelia, I ban Akali. (Not that Irelia can't handle Akali, just that it won't happen until late game when Akali falls off and Irelia's build a shit ton of items to knock dmg down a peg). I am new to Irelia but not new to Akali. I personally believe Akali is in a bad spot but others contest, Riot though thinks she's not very good either which excites me cause' hopefully she'll get atleast her Q heal back .-. I ban Aatrox when playing Akali cause she's hella squish and immobile unless you want to burn flash and your ult every single time you want to simply farm. Not to mention, his infernal chains basically ruins her shroud.
