How can i impact more to the results of my games

A week ago I was on my gold one promos and I was so happy. I felt like I had a chance to get in platinum this season. Well.. I lost my promos and from there everything has gone downhill. I lose more games than I win in a day and the amount of games that I lose in a day is going up. I know the saying: "You win some, You lose some." But the problem that I am having is that I don't feel like I actually impact the game in any aspect. Like I can be fed or I can have a bad game and I am the one feeding. Still it feels like it doesn't matter. It feel like the game result is decided without me. Now I am asking advice from you. How can I impact more to games? I mostly play mid but occasionally I play top. I love playing Anivia, but I also play champs like Swain and Taliyah. Tell me how I use the lead that I might get effectively. One last problem that I have been having is that when I get fed usually somebody on the enemy team (usually hypercarry or adc) also gets fed and then as an midlane mage, if the fed enemy player is good, I feel like I am screwed. Give me your tips.

There are several different ways to impact a game.

Tempo: moving around, ganking all the time, dont let flash get off cooldown and dont let enemies farm up before you are on them again. Assasins are great at this. Pressure: To have more farm and more items than enemy team. Basically have enemy team feel as soon as they mis-step or face check a bush, they get one-shot. AP mages are good at this. Objective control: If the enemy team is ganking 4 bot, they will lose 1-2 towers, mid and top. Rift herald will get taken. If they are out of position, drake down. Map control and vision and dance around the enemy.

You just have to play better and play to your role and champion. If you play Taliyah, always be active and let enemy team know, if they dive top, you will come. If they mis-step once you will knock them back and nuke them. Wall to zone out drakes and baron.

If you play Swain, make sure to farm up and get big and tanky. If they jump on you, you will turn with ulti and kill them. Go frontline a teamfight and do damage while tanking.

You really just have to focus on the game. Make sure to push and take towers, farm up with good cs, have high kill participation and ward up.

If you are stil not sure, watch pro streams and youtube clips. Watch how they play anivia or taliyah in LCS, might give you some inspiration.

Personal skill: Having more gold, more kills, enemy laner having less, all snowballs into you having a better impact

Team skill: Pinging/shotcalling correct objectives, for jg/support and somewhat mid as well vision control

Social skill: Keeping your team from infighting and imploding
