I swear I don't see the appeal of it
maybe I'm just too old
maybe I'm just too old
The appeal is that it's fun
i find it a lot more fun with duos/parties but still
dont worry it will die
He keeps saying fortnite is the new call of duty but call of duty has been dead since like 2010. It's popular for a month or two after every new release then it's dead.
Well, let's see. Battle Royale games are in right now and it's the one that's free to play...
Don't like battle royale games. Feels like csgo. Camp 1 spot, wait for an ennemy to come by, kill him in one hit. I guess fortnite is better than pubg because the maps is smaller, so you don't run around for 10 minutes and then die from a guy you could never have seen before you even got to do anything..?
My little bro plays it I rather play rainbox six siege or leage mehehehehehehe
As a fan of Royal style games, Fortnite didn't appeal to me. The idea of "Who spams walls better wins" is kind of re++++ed.
Fortnite seems to be an acquired taste. After two games I got pretty bored when I would usually be in the top 20 people alive and then abruptly get shot from who knows where. My reactions are pretty bad to be fair, but since the game is almost entirely reaction based I just can't enjoy it like other games.
I lost interest in 2 weeks.
I think it got more popular because of famous artists playing the game and their fans also playing it because of them.
I just don't get how "pro" fortnite players are able to build all this stuff so fast. I watch summit and hes building all this stuff so fast when he fights and i'm like wtff
That being said, the building stuff i don't like i find it boring that as soon as someone is getting shot they build walls and stairs and shit. I preferred pubg where if ur getting shot ugotta seek cover or jump around.

The game has a lot of extremely high tense moments that feel really good when you succeed. The keyword being succeed. I personally like getting better at it because the high from winning a skirmish is pretty neat.
