Riot's Banning System is Way Too Strict and Unrealistic

As I am sure this has been discussed before, I will not let up until Riot's unrealistic banning policy is fixed. Grounds for being banned should only include telling someone to harm themselves and/or racist comments. Arguing online is natural and again is an unrealistic thing to stop. League is one of the most toxic communities out there and it won't change no matter how many people you ban. This only frustrates people who were provoked into an argument. Tyler1 a famous streamer who plays usually nothing but LoL, has the same views as do many. Him being a partner still and violating the system over and over with multiple banned accounts just shows how messed up their policy really is. I still love the guy, its not him, it's Riot. Please make this board known as I am sure almost all of you have struggled with this persisting issue. Not to mention the 100's of Riot employees who left due to this absurd policy, I am sure all of LoL fans would agree making League not toxic is impractical.

Arguing online is natural

Humans are inherently social creatures. Selfishness is natural, but being an asshole to others is not. Plus, you don't get banned for "arguing". You get banned for flaming or being an asshole.

again is an unrealistic thing to stop

It's unrealistic to stop all murders, thefts, etc. Does that mean we shouldn't try to stop those we can and punish those we can't stop?

Him being a partner still and violating the system over and over with multiple banned accounts just shows how messed up their policy really is.

Since Tyler1's ID ban was removed, I believe he's gotten 1 chat restriction? Maybe 2? In months? Why should he be treated any more special than others once his ID ban was removed?

Not to mention the 100's of Riot employees who left due to this absurd policy

Well, if you're referring to the walkout, it had nothing to do with flaming/verbal abuse. It had to do with the fact that some people were unhappy that an independent investigation didn't turn out the way they had wanted it to.

I agree, though arguing comes naturally when someone messes up or just screws you on purpose, there's some stages of arguing where 0 reasoning is involved and people just throw insults at eachother, which they should punish since it's annoying and disrespectful.

But calling people out on their mistakes shouldn't be seen as an offense, everyone can lose their cool and as long as you're not being cruel and just slapping horrible insults you should be fine.

I sometimes argue with other players because I'm tilted but I never got anything. Not a chat restriction nothing. Actually, I did get a message saying 'you've been a bit toxic lately, mind tuning that down a bit' a while ago. It made me realize that I was perhaps too vocal and I've since tried to stay calm and composed. It's not hard. Arguing will always escalate the situation, never solve the problem. Just mute and report if you want to.

Given that chat restrictions didn't correct your behavior, I think it's natural that it was escalated to a ban.

The last time Riot did according to your OP, chat restrictions could stack infinitely and some players bragged about their game count because the punishment didn't mean anything to them. So Riot went a step further and started banning players who refused to reform after a large chat restriction.
