Should I transfer my account to NA just for ranked?

Hey, This discussion has probably been laid out on the table many times before, but I'm here to share some thoughts of why I think EUW just has no potential for me anymore.

The community We all know that the EUW region can be... toxic and frustrating (this is also a reason of why I'm not posting this on the EUW boards). We've all been there, a player feeds or just acts immature, so we start getting frustrated and try to talk some sense into the guy, which always ends in a bad way. Especially me, I was the guy that took the bait and started a pointless conversation. But I came to the realisation that the mute button exists some time ago. No matter what elo you're in, you'll always be seen as trash by the EUW region.

From what I've heard, the NA region seems to be more quite and laid back. There always seems to be some funny banter in the chat. I could be totally wrong about this, but this is just from what I've seen in videos and heard from others.

Does ranked in EUW even matter? I feel like ranked in the EUW region doesn't even matter. I've peaked to diamond 1-2 many times before, but the gameplay was the exact same of when I was in plat 1. In the games in diamond 1 that I played, everyone was master division or above, except for me. And yet, it felt like a normal game when I was down alot more elo.

NA seems to be the right place if the only thing you play is ranked. In diamond 5 - challenger elo, there are actually some stairs to climb. Diamond 5 is still known for being 'trash' in all regions, but once you start peaking at diamond 1, you start seeing some known players who definitely know what they are doing. And ofcourse, NA has scouting grounds. I know for a fact that I wont make it that far, but it shows dedication of why NA ranked might be better than EUW ranked.

These are the 2 main reasons of why I'm looking to transfer my account to NA from EUW. The following reasons and the main reasons of what's stopping me from doing so.

Ping On EUW, I always get a stable 9 ping. I know for a fact that this is some next level ping. In NA, I get around 105 ping. This is a very big gap for someone who is used to playing with 9 ping. There are some programs that lower your ping, but I'm not sure about those programs. (Please dont consider my 9 ping of being the only reason of why I should not transfer to NA)

Timezone There is about a 6-9 hour difference from me and North America. In EUW we have times that are the best to play at. Does NA also have this? If I would transfer, I would mostly play in the morning and afternoon, these are NA times.

Well, let me know what you think. Would love to hear something about this. Thank you for taking the time.

I know you said not to base it all around the ping, but 105 is very very bad. There will be constant major delays between your actions and the game. I do usually find that NA is relatively non-toxic.

Well, unfortunately I find the NA servers to be rather toxic, so I don't think it'll be any better on that front for you. People have mentioned that 94 ping isn't great and this is very true, so you might find that it's a lot of lag. That being said, I usually sit around 50 ping and I don't have huge problems. It would likely take some getting used to on your end since you're used to such low ping; you might find your ranked games suffer for a bit while you're getting used to it.

On the plus side, I don't really find there's a time of day that's any better or worse for playing, so I don't think the timezone thing would be an issue.

I can't speak for the difference in ranked between EUW and NA unfortunately so I'll leave it at that.
