Yo can I get unbanned?

Lemme explain what happened about a year ago, I heard about scripts and was like "eh, sounds lame.", but found out about one thing. You could use scripts to see the range of champions, abilities, and towers. In norms, I thought this was a great technique to actually learn the game. If I practiced knowing how to stay outside the range of different champions, it would become a positive habit in ranked play even without scripts. So I used for I think 3 normal games, and then got banned. I also think a permaban for something as simple as this is a little unreasonable. I hope this justifies my actions somewhat, honestly, I was just trying to learn the game. Either way, if I do get unbanned, you know I will never use scripts again :). (I assume General Discussion is not the place for this but idk where else to put it)
