can someone give me a recommendation for a good anime site?

every dang website i try has some combination of being really slow/requiring reloading constantly/terrible quality video, lots of pop up ads, virus's, ads meant to attract horny 12 year olds, a terrible selection, and/or no english dub. are there any sites out there that are actually decent? id like to be able to watch something without having to worry about virus's, crappy viewing experience, or my family walking in and seeing ads with half naked women

edit: who tf is downvoting this? literally what about this warrants downvoting?

First off, adblockers and scriptblockers exist. Use them.

I use gogoanime for my anime needs, usually using the mp4upload mirror, which is decent quality and doesn't have obnoxious ads on it. But I also use noscript and only specifically allow the stuff that needs to be allowed to stream the video, so I don't know what the ads will be like for you. I'm a sub-only guy, but they do have dub uploads on there, so give it a shot.

https://www.masterani.me/ is pretty good. Not as easy to navigate as lots of other sites, but it's a good site overall. It's sleek, well organized, and they don't try to circumvent your adblockers with pop ups.

Outside of Crunchyroll and things like Netflix and Steam of all things that also sell anime, most of the other sites are illegal pirate sites. Just so you know. That said, legal sites are typically operating on a kind of money scheme studios in Japan barely get any cuts from sales in the west anyway, but that's another topic entirely; just to let you know that it's best to support legal channels if you can.

I probably shouldn't endorse stream sites. Then again, legit stream sites have kinda gone to shit since you have to pay for like 3-4 of them to get everything you want to watch, and I ain't dealing with that shit.

Personally I go to watchdub.co before anyplace else, they have tons of English dubbed stuff. Otherwise I just google whatever I want and pick the first site that functions.
