Runes and masteries
So i played way back in late season 2 and in to late season 3 and i really enjoyed the rune system, the complete freedom in choice in what you wanted to make and it also made a big difference in the game.
The masteries also had an effect but not as much as the runes.
This new mix between the runes and masteries are just boring and really simplified, now there isn't really anything wrong with making it simpler. But this feels like a big step backwards, there is less creativity in this new one and you can't make a dual setup for certain builds for certain champion, So now you have to make two pages for the same champion or class group.
I can understand that the old runes were a bit expensive but you fixed the currency issue now, so it wouldn't have been as big of a problem that it kinda was. The good things about it is that it is free so you will have some extra stats early on, but why did you have to mix in the masteries as well ? why didn't you just rewamp the rune system and left the masteries as it was or updated it but kept it in that style ?.
I rather pay for freedom of choice than being handed a restrictive alternative.
