Why hasn't Riot started all girl league yet? Would girls want this or not? Would it be good? I see great players on twitch and it would be a surprised to most of you but they are girls. make sure to vote it up on the left hand corner so maybe Riot games would change how things are.

Well since the girls simply wouldnt be as good as the current teams. They wont watch it purely for the gameplay since there is pro matches on most of the year.
Then we have the issue of numbers. Im pretty sure that last season there was only about 5 female challengers in NA. Meaning the majority of the teams would be diamond to master. And hearing "yo wanna see a bunch of diamond players compete in a tournament" really doesnt sound too good.
I feel it would just end up like challenger series or academy teams. With only fans of teams watching simply because of the names, not the gameplay.
There was an all girls team once...they were garbage compared to the boys and broke up very fast
I don't think there are enough high elo girls to fill an entire league
I do not watch pro play at all really. However I don't understand the point in it. Girls can play in the current pro play there is right now. It is just a VERY VERY small portion of the people who can play league at that level who are girls, not that they are not capable its just going to be very difficult to get several full teams of ONLY girls who can play at a professional level since there are so few. Even if they could why wouldn't they just play with all the other pro players? Why restrict them to only playing against other girls?
The reason there are girls sports teams and boy sports teams is because the genders are not equal physically. League or any video game really are not physical activities so girls would not be at any disadvantage playing against the boys.

There are girl only sports because girls are physically weaker than men. Women are just naturally weaker than men so they wouldn't be able to compete in the basketball leagues for example which is why they are given their own. This isn't the same in video games. Women aren't worse than men at video games. There are just less women playing at the higher level that guys play at.
Just like many professional women's sports. No one watches them. Let's not for get that boys and girls are still very different. There are differences in mind sets, reaction times, aggression. I am not saying one is better then the other, just that we are different. I don't know why that is such a hard concept for people to grasp. Both sexes do things better than the other.
Also how long until they demand equal pay? Do you think any company wants to have to defend that pr let alone that kind of law suit?

I wanna be honest, Do you want to see 5v5 girls playing against each other picking Sona/Lux/Kai'Sa/Soraka/Lulu against Nami/Caitlyn/Ahri/Neeko/Morgana ? Just be honest, most of girls who play league are botlane/support mains, only 1% play other roles lol. + it'll be boring, maybe if everyteam adds a girlr with them playing adc or support it'll be cool, but girls only will be boring
Rather than segregate women in a sport that they can compete on an equal footing in, why not look at solving the barriers that keep them out of pro play?
How about mixed teams? Anyone has a barin;) and can click buttons... All-girls teams is as sexist as the rest.
For sports, you have all girl leagues because girls are physically weaker than men genetically. But for LoL ? There's no excuses except they're bad or not as invested. They can play in the main leagues if they want.
LoL-related organizations (such as "esports" teams) as well as Riot themselves have tried gender discrimination, and it's never worked out. No benefits, just problems.
We already had all-girl teams in the past. Team Siren and Vaevictis Esports. Both of them were a dumpsterfire.
As some people have already pointed out, they tried an all female team a few times. It didn't work out.
I think I was only around for Vaevictis, and I think it went something like this:
I think 4 of them were support mains, one was a mid main.
I don't think any of them were what you would consider to be "pro players."
I think they were put against a male team that were actually pros, don't remember which one.
Male team didn't take it seriously and they all banned "egirl" champions like Lux, Sona, Soraka, ect.
Female team, not being pros and not being in their main roles for the most part, got absolutely destroyed.

Representation for the sake of representation is a bad thing, because then its forced and not done even remotely well. As a female player myself, I consider teams Siren and Vaevictis to be absolute embarrassments as "representations" of females in esports, and I never want to see another all female team again unless there are plans to actually do it right this time around. Otherwise, just don't bother. Just making it even harder for female players to be taken seriously.
I agree female-only champion tournaments.
