Best CPU for League

I'm looking to purchase or build a computer strictly for playing League. What should I be looking at. Anything will be better than my current set up. 2011 Mac-book pro with a $12 mouse from walmart.

Graphics cards are like 100x more important than the CPU. You can buy a used Dell Optiplex from like 2008 on Ebay for like $50, throw a GT 730 for as low as $35 in there and run it smoothly on max settings.

the most important thing that will help you run league smoothly is a graphics card

An old phenom II tricore can run league fine lol.

You can make a 200 dollar PC that can run league at over 100 fps pretty easily.

You could probably play League on a literal toaster.. It's such a light game that I used to get 60 FPS on "very high" settings with an i3 2120 and radeon hd 5670 lmao

What's your budget? For League a dual core will be enough, for anything else I'd recommend a six core or a hyperthreaded quad core at least.

One of the modern intel i3s will be fine or any of the low end amd ryzen ones, right now I have a i3 7100 and a gtx 1050 ti which run this game flawlessly however I used to have an amd fx 6300 + r7 250 and it would run 60 fps on max settings.

My friend, you cant get 300 stable fps even with 1080 TI in league of legends... watch imaqtpie stream his frames are getting to 70 sometimes. You dont know what are you talking about is impossible to get stable 300 fps.Im getting 200 fps stable in the first 15 minutes of the game, then is impossible.

My specs:i5 6600,gtx 950,8gb ram.

EDIT: I made a lot of tests, there is nothing wrong with my pc.

my frames on league are from 300 to 140(constantly) and at drake/nexus or hard teamfights it gets under 80-100.But sometimes im getting random spikes of about 50-60 fps for like 0.2-0.3 sec(it still feels).Trust me bro, boards is full of this problem, there is nothing wrong with my pc.

If you have an 144 hz monitor im pretty sure you wont feel the spikes, but with a 60 hz monitor you feel it,trust me.

Anything better than a dual core CPU honestly lol

have the same results as you do in bot games and arams but when I play a 5 vs 5 rank and the teamfight is intense is just IMPOSSIBLE to get the fps you are saying.Watch qtpie stream for about 2-3 minutes you will see that I am right .His frames are getting even to 70 sometimes and he has 1080TI.
