I thought about it, but I personally am not a believer in this type of reasoning. I think people should be able to ban their teammate's champions. The meta is decided in champion select right now 90% of the time. Often when looking at a specific set of champions you just KNOW there's a 99% chance that the game is over before it has even started.
- When your team has 0 hard crowd control given with pick intent, you're probably going to lose.
- When your team is full AP, you're probably going to lose.
- When your team is full AD, you're probably going to lose.
- When your team has 3, or even 4, marksman.. you're most likely going to lose.
- When your team is 5 melee, you're probably going to lose.
The list of things that I see every single day in this game, is nothing except this trash. The majority of League players do not care. They pick whatever the hell they want without regard to how it functions in any manner towards a win condition for your team.
So, when I'm looking at my team and wondering,
"What's my best chance at winning this game?"
What do you think the answer is? That's correct, the only reasonable thing is to ban my teammate's champion and hope that he will pick something that contributes to any kind of win condition. If my teammate trolls because he or she is mad, then so be it. In my perspective of reasoning, if I feel forced to ban one of my teammate's champions, there wasn't a high chance of winning that particular match anyways with the team composition they were drafting.
Not everyone intentionally bans their teammate's champion to be an asshole, instead of being accusatory stop and reason out whether or not there might have actually been a valid reason behind it. It's not just YOUR game, it's also 4 other people on YOUR TEAM's game. Greed'ing a specific champion instead of picking what's beneficial for your team could also be viewed the other way around, as YOU trolling.
It's not report-able for them banning your champion, nor is it report-able for you wanting to pick a certain champion. Just accept that your teammates do not feel confidant in someone else playing that champion and move on.
Yea, it's understandable that you will be offended. Everyone wants to believe in themselves, but it's not just your game and you have 4 other players to convince if any one of them don't want that champion on their team.
