Oh. Look. Another "leak".
So to give a brief overview, Redmercy made a video yesterday showcasing a prediction on thee next champ being an ADC and potentially being Yasuo's brother, but as well "leaked" upcoming skins and the Swain rework.
The leak that was given doesn't even look like it holds any weight. I mean, Swain's supposed reworked passive makes it so when he kills a ward he gets a charge back, half CD for control wards. Immediately the first problem and sign that this is a bullshit post. Why? Why would a battle mage like Swain get a passive like that? Q is way too similar to current one except it's now his W, W is Lissandra's except applies E, and new E is the god damn Q again! And the ult- OMFG, the ult is just stupid! It's still transforming into a bird, having the same effect but I guess it's now on a time limit, Like Nasus & Renekton a bit, but you can deactivate it early to root people?
Just....why is this a thing? Why do people think that posting "leaks" on this stuff will just mean we automatically buy it? And even then, if it does turn out to be true, why spoil the surprise or build up to it? The last official leak I can think of was the Omega Squad and Vs. leak back in early-mid 2017, and even then I think a lot of us were kinda pissed since it wasn't that much of a surprise and we saw it coming. It's like if you somehow saw the presents you were going to get this Christmas, and still had to act surprised when you opened them that day, it's not the same you know what's coming your way. The magic just falls apart.
And even then, there are just so many copycats out there that most "leaks" are, again, just fake piles of shit to get attention for people. I'm honestly sick of it. As much as I would like to know if say Shen finally got a new skin coming next month (because lord he needs one) or know what champ we're getting next, I kind of want it to be a mystery still, actually surprise me with something I didn't see coming or expected. It's just gotten to the point were it sucks when people post leaks when in reality they're really just attention grabbers or poorly made predictions, with so many people jumping on.
