Best version of windows to you?
Windows XP was the giraffes banana pajamas. I don't think it could be beat.[sg-ahri-2]

Windows 7. No forced update bullshit and pretty open.
I kinda liked 3.11
Even now it's a fun OS to poke around in...change stuff, try things.
liked it soo much I kept it on USB.
I miss when you could buy a game...and it was all there. No addons to buy, DLC's patched in and not purchased.
fuck. I'm old.
don't step on my lawn.
Windows 10 by a mile.
I'm gonna get tons of downvotes, but I actually like 10. I've had literally zero issues with it, across 2 PCs, and I was an early adopter.
10 in its polished form is about as great as 7 felt, XP seemed fine, 98 was as stable and perfect as it gets relevant to tech at the time
Debian
8.1 is an excellent OS. Has the improvements over 7 (such as memory management) while not being 10.
I dislike the underhanded tactics MS tries to get people onto 10, such as claiming you can't support the newest CPUs on 7/8.1 or by slashing support for 8.1 early by claiming that 8.1 is no longer a separate OS from 8.
Not sure how MS can offer such a telemetry filled piece of garbage for the prices they offer it at, if the software I needed was on Linux I would have swapped a while ago.
7, but I haven't been able to use 10 very much and can't compare the two fully through experience. I know there are a few things I really don't like about it, but they're not on the level of being absolute deal breakers.
98 / xp / 7 / 10 are good 95 / me / vista / 8 are shit
98 SE was good and is my favorite pre-NT OS, XP and 7 were also pretty good. I guess overall, it has to be XP. It had a really good balance between utility and simplicity.
Wins 7, followed by XP.
Bay windows. I find them romantic.
