Why do rioters only reply to completely meaningless posts?

Whenever somebody uploads an obnoxious meme (barring some quality shitposters) or asks a stupid/trivial question about a champion's background (like ''uuuuh what's Varus' favorite color'') a rioter is always quick to reply, heck even other rioters flock at the comments to poke fun at said rioter, which is cool and all I guess.

But when an actually serious question/complaint regarding the state of the game gets posted, even if rioters are addressed directly (like the omnipresent certainlyT) nobody ever shows up to, at the very least let us know that we're being heard, let alone answer the question (because they probably can't). But I guess knownig if Ahri likes spaghetti or some stupid shit is more important than the state of the game and how the community feels about it.

Because the people answering the trivial questions are not the people who balance the game. They don't answer because they don't have the knowledge to. The ones that can answer are usually too busy to reply to every single post about balance. Questions about the game state are better left in Meddler's threads in the dev corner where he actually sets aside time to answer them.

If this post attracts attention we bait a rioter with some stupid as shit question about ezreal and lux being canon then bombard them with serious questions the moment they answer.

Because it's not their job to reply to the forums. Because maybe they are normal people and want to have fun on the forum for the game they work on. Because it's not their job to reply to the forums, their job being "sound design" and so they are not able to respond to complaints in an area unrelated to their job when some ass sees "Riot" and attacks them on sight for not nerfing the weak champion they just lost to.

Because they are not posting as "Riot" they are posting as individuals. I disagree with the standards they imply, but I understand the reasoning behind it. Getting hounded for unnofficial quotes on questions that they probably don't have the answers for, or probably don't care about, isn't fun.

That said I am not sure why they are so rude (read: toxic) and hypocritical.
