Riot's strongest fetish seems to be to bully lucian

I mean look at all the champion dialogues. EVERY SINGLE ONE after Aurelion Sol has at least one line that just straight out disses the loss of his wife Senna. Lux voiceover rework, shadow isles champs, reworked galio, reworked yorick, and now even reworked evelynn.

Like, is there some big scheme of Things going on that i am Missing? Or do the devs just hate lucian as much as the community does and express it via literally one diss per champ design release? Like, i am starting to actually feel sad for this guy.
