When is urf coming back?

Why not just leave URF in the game and patch it while its up? So many people want to play exclusively URF. Or have an arcade mode section where you have all the featured games. My 2c.

The game has gone to shit and urf is honestly the only slightly enjoyable aspect the game has left. Other game modes are quite entertaining too, but it's gotten so repetitive and mind numbing.

Give it 3~6 months. Though a nightmare to balance, it is by far one of the, if not the most popular game modes.

I only play urf, so seeya next time...

just bring it forever and if someone wants to play he plays and if he doesnt there are some people who want to play

why don't they just make urf or aurf weekend game mod or every 2 weeks it would be much better than to wait from 3 do 9 months

They will never leave it up, and they will never have normal URF again, it will only be AURF. The reason is they see a decrease in the number on normal/ranked games played and a decrease in player satisfaction towards the game. Also every time they take it away they see less and less players return to league. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it never comes back again.

I suggest that urf should stay on lol forever but, if riot can't keep it there forever, then they should at least bring it back more often.

If they're worried about players leaving, they should really just leave it up to also attract the players who exclusively enjoy urf and/or rarely play the actual game. I can garuntee that someone who enjoys urf is far more willing to spend money on skins and other accessories than someone who only plays rift. The gamemode's far more glamorous, the random champion, rerolls, boosting, low cooldowns, it spices up the game and makes players want more in my opinion. If they're not making it permenant because it's hard to balance, why not hire more staff to exclusively balance urf? It could take a total of 3 people getting paid, what? $22/h to exclusively make the gamemode fair. It's a joke to say they can't manage urf when they've had TFT up for so long, which is a game of it's own. It's saying that they can run an entirely different game with no problem, but can't manage a mod. I believe the real reason they're not keeping urf out is similar to how companies display their new products, Taco Bell is my best example. They know a large majority of their fans enjoy Nacho Fries and Crunchy Rolled Tacos, yet they're only available a month every couple times a year. They know getting bursts of sales is far more effective at attracting money than keeping them out forever. Fans will eventually get bored and stop buying. If urf was always available, a large amount of people who play it will quit after getting bored. Tldr Riot wants money, not support from their fans. Shocking.

They won't make it perma. In a interview a rioter siad that they get a decrase in active player after a round of urf. It becomes hard for them to perma or lower the space between release bc they get scared that alot of players will leave the game.

Same, I returned to try this new TFT and it was boring in less than a day. If they had ARURF or normal URF as a permanent mode I'd play daily because I literally never got bored of those while they were around. I played ARAM for a while but after the release of URF I felt a huge decline in my desire to play ARAM because it just feels slow and bleh. I miss league but have no desire to play anything aside from URF and I've discussed it with several friends whom all agreed with me. Also the excuse that "players decline durring URF mode activity" is purely bull crap. More likely that they bring urf back at the start of college semesters or school season in general or something like that thus people just have less time to play and they just want to blame a game mode they have less love for than the rest.
