So I haven't played League for about seven months now. Came back to three new champs and one up and coming. Got IP saved to get one of them, which is a better pick?
The two lovers get some sort of bonus if fielded together, am I right about that?
I like Ornn and Kayn more than Xayah and Rakan tbh.
I'd go for kayn, ornn if he seems like your type of champ. xayah and rakan aren't as enjoyable
Rakan and Kayn are both pretty fun. Ornn looks pretty boring tbh
The more IP efficient route is to buy all champs 4800 and under then buy champion shard tokens, mixing them for the rest of the 6300+ ones
Getting Ornn on release won't do you any good. After the addition of ten bans new champs are basically unplayable outside of blind pick for their first few weeks.
It entirely depends on your playstyle. They are all quite fun (well, Ornn looks fun and pretty broken too) but all serve very different roles.
If you like a somewhat immobile ADC with decent sustained damage and burst, Xayah is fun.
If you want a highly mobile support with fantastic engage (similar to Alistar engage) I am having a lot of fun with Rakan
If you want a mobile assassin or bruiser (he can build either) mainly played in the jungle, Kayn is fun.
If you prefer tankier guys, Ornn seems more your speed.
And yes, the lovers have advantages with each other, but are solid on their own.
Are those the only 4 you have left?
If so then let chance guide you and go buy 3 champion shards and reroll them into a random champ that you do not own.
As someone who is a support main and loves tanks... I would say go for Ornn and Rakan. Rakan is SUPER fun to play and a decent support with or without his pair. Ornn looks fun too, and I know I'm saving up for him myself.
Xayah is also good and Kayn can be in the right hands but unless you like those roles I wouldn't really go for them
