Inside The Culture Of Sexism At Riot Games

I don't know how mine got deleted. All I literally said was "care to explain this" and it got deleted. They probably only deleted mine because deleting all of them would make it too suspect and by deleting some it would shush it a little. This is an incredibly serious topic and I think this deserves far more awareness and discussion as this merely lasted 48 hours in the community.

EDIT: I predict this post won't last 24 hours until it gets deleted. If it doesn't get deleted, then welp imma have to enjoy 20+ notifications for "We've already seen this, stop showing us this shit."

With 10 comments on 10 posts, the discussions are more spread out, or become repetitive; having community members discuss things is better when they're all in the same place. It's explained pretty clearly in that message that there were already active discussions on the topic/article. Your post offered nothing new, and had little effort put into making the post compared to others. This action would have been done if the topic were any subject that has several active discussions.

1: Kotaku 2: Its, again, The N'th thread on the topic. The reason it got deleted is because THERES ALREADY OTHER THREADS FOR THIS FUCKING TOPIC. Maybe instead of making ANOTHER ONE, You join the conversation on those other threads, AND NOT FUCKING FILL THE FORUMS WITH THIS MENIAL TRASH 3: It'd be all fine and dandy, But when posts like this exist, It seems MORE THAN UNNECCISARY CLUTTER. And even then, I'd argue that they shouldn't have made that post as, Well. Give an inch, They'll take a mile.

Dude, are you serious? There was plenty of conversation when that thread came out damn near a month ago. The time has come and passed. Riot's already announced that they are making concerted efforts to correct it. Move on to the next topic.

BlueVestGuy8/31/2018, 12:10:57 AM4 votes

you make a thread it gets deleted because there's already plenty other better, more "popular" version of the same thread you make the thread again and complain people tell you we all know about it and to post in those threads

if you want attention find other stuffs to post about

I saw it. What was I supposed to do?

no1cares

you know what we care more about than what Riot employees do or do not have to endure in their daily life? we care about them delivering a good product, how they get there is absolutely irrelevant

AmazingBeaver8/30/2018, 11:23:36 PM2 votes

Its Riot's fault though .. instead of telling them straight to the face "You are not good enough , not because you are a woman but because you just lack in everything " they came up with BS excuses . Plus Kotaku that is like the biggest dumpster fire excuse of a source of news or whatever . The people who believe the things they reed there are the same people committing ritual suicides waiting for a comet to take them to the next world .

what's wrong with kotaku?? isn't it just a nerd culture forum for lgbt?

VoraciousX8/30/2018, 11:33:58 PM1 votes

Honestly just because it came from Kotaku doesn't make it less true(it's also not the only account, it's just the one that broke the dam). Think about it, we had that one caster who had his little scandal with some girl, and I heard there was something to do with Riot Lyte. It all pretty much adds up.

Muzzrah8/30/2018, 11:23:27 PM1 votes

I hear where you're coming from, but Riot is slowly starting to try and take steps towards correcting it. They definitely should be held accountable, and part of that is them not sweeping it under the rug. But it does seem like they are moving towards embracing the issue at its core and addressing it fully. https://www.bleedingcool.com/2018/08/30/riot-games-releases-mass-apology-statement-after-sexism-allegations/

by slandering kotaku, it's like yall are getting upset at something doing the job it was intended for.

I mean christ what do you expect??

There is NOTHING suspect about kotaku. They are just fulfilling the role they represent. FIRE IS HOT ICE IS COLD

Get woke, go broke. Asian countries don't give a d*mn about social justice, and any media that has attempted to push it on them has been soundly rejected. If Riot loses Korea, they lose it all. If they continue down the "diversity" route, League of Legends as an esport will die within a year, 2 tops. Like all forms of entertainment media, they have forgotten. We don't care about social justice and we don't need them. They need us and they aren't the only game in town.

It's certainly not an issue if people don't talk about it all day long. It's perfectly fine to chase the SJW dream all you want, but don't force it on other people pls.
