Helping get toxic players punished should help with your honor level.
Let's get this out of the way. I play quite a bit. Typically around 5 games a day if not more. Why then, am I still honor level 2 if I've never been punished for anything reportable or toxic (other than some afks years before the current honor system)? Do people just honor the people they queue with? Do people hate me for maining kat (wrong as that might seem, I still feel like people judge you based on your main)? To go along with this, I've reported and helped get 2, if not 3 players punished for unsportsmanlike behavior. Shouldn't that help your honor level at all? If it already does, why am I not honor level 3 yet, when my buddy is honor level 4 when he plays probably 1/4 the amount of games I do, is a worse player overall (I mean this to be factual, not rude), and usually rages more in chat when his team makes a bad decision? I feel like the current honor system is flawed in that it doesn't show your progress to the next level and it doesn't reward you well enough for helping get deserving players punished. If you've made it this far, thank you for enduring my little rant about the honor system. I really do hope someone knowledgeable will see and reply to this, as I am interested in finding out the reasoning behind it all.
