Title. Sooo many people complain about this. I understand this is a team game, but SOME reward for folks who consistently outperform their teammates would be in order. Let's say, after outperforming your own team by a certain margin for 3 games in a row, you earn 20 LP. This would alleviate the infinite discussion of "Why am I still in b/s when I constantly play well and my teammates always troll/afk/suck." My conspiracy-theory mind tells me that Rito simply doesn't want this, not bc this is a team game, but bc they want to limit "social mobility." You're in silver, you'll always be in silver. Not cool.

This has been suggested a million times, so this marks now the millionth time of me saying, no, this is a terrible idea as it rewards stat padding instead of actually trying to win the game. You may now all congratulate me on saying the same darn shit for the millionth time.

If you consistently have a lead but are consistently incapable of transitioning that lead into a win, I don't think you deserve the LP

CS and kills only do you good if you help other lanes and get objectives

One, they already do that based on your MMR. Two, they're not gonna do it on a game-by-game basis because there's a lot of shit that can add up to a 0-7 game no matter how good you are.

Being a silver player myself, who consistently gets an early lead and then gives it away, I can say that I don't deserve the LP from the win if I can't carry my team.

I get the stat padding point. Still, you've got to admit that the current system is also flawed, as it punishes players for "not transitioning their lead." This simply isn't always possible, and you know it. Try it as adc in this meta.

I don't dig this argument, which btw I've also heard millions of times. First, it doesn't take roles into account. It's virtually impossible to carry as sup in b/s. The system rewards ppl who specialize in hard carries. Second, a margin so slim (4 vs 5 bad players) makes low elo just a grind, like killing infinite creeps in WoW just to get the quest reward. My point was to lift players who outperform JUST A LITTLE above that grind.

OK fine, I take your word for it. I still don't see why a marginal individual LP boost would break the game. I'm actually happy with grinding, I'm just not happy with constant frustration.
