I wouldn't say excited, but i am curious as to what they're going to do with Episode 9; considering all the damage to the story that was done in 8

I think Episode 8 had too many "...why?" moments in it for me to keep the excitement I once had for Star Wars.

  • Leah in space
  • Hyperspace ramming
  • "Miniaturized Death Star tech"

At least the Prequels didn't spit on the originals on purpose. They just failed to be at their level.

I still think that TLJ was "meh" for the most part, its easily the weakest out of these newer movies but I don't think its as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

I actually liked Solo though, I thought it was pretty neat to get a star wars movie that is not just Rebels/Empire/Jedi/Sith for once.

as for episode 9, I fear that it will play super safe like TFA given that JJ is back followed by the massive backlash that TLJ got.
