Her last skin was 3 months ago and she already had a similar skin with KDA, why not just take Lucian to go with Senna? Karma could very well have been a better choice too, I understand that popular champions are very often skin, but this is quite misused
If I had to guess, two key reasons:
She's one of their most profitable cash cows now.
She's the new Waifu
AFAIK True Damage is the Louis Vuitton skin line, so it could be a "they picked X champs so we have to do X champs". I really hope this is the answer because otherwise they made another Yasuo and Akali skin less than 5 months after their last one.
Akali is hot and Lucian is not.
