Custom huds removed?

So i have using a custom for for quite some time using a custom hud skin and i know that normally every patch you need to reapply the skin in the league folders and that was fine by me, but rencently in the preseason patch i can't use the custom hud skin i've been using anymore. i moved it to the place where you normally should put it but it doesn't show up in game. any help or explaination? The hud skin i use just makes your hud and scoreboard transparent so you can see what's behind it.
